Token prices and private-show examples.
One token wallet pays for public tips and private shows. Here is what is free, what costs tokens, and how far a balance goes at each private rate.
Purchases open at launch. During pre-launch you can create a free account and request a launch email; no payment is taken.
What is free and what is paid
Public viewing: free
Watching public rooms is free with an eligible signed-in account. No tokens are needed to watch, and your camera is not requested.
Tips: optional
Send whole-token tips in public chat when you choose (a confirmed email is required). Tips go to the broadcaster's room and can count toward a tip goal.
Private shows: paid
One-on-one time is charged in tokens at the broadcaster's rate, by the second, after a short connection grace period.

How long tokens last in a private show
Broadcasters choose a private rate of 8, 12, 18, 30, 60, 90 or 120 tokens per minute; the default is 12. For example, 100 tokens covers about 8 minutes 20 seconds of billed private time at 12 tokens per minute, before any separate tips.
| Broadcaster rate | 100 tokens | 550 tokens | 1,150 tokens |
|---|---|---|---|
| 8 tokens/min | 12 min 30 sec | 1 h 8 min 45 sec | 2 h 23 min 45 sec |
| 12 tokens/min (default) | 8 min 20 sec | 45 min 50 sec | 1 h 35 min 50 sec |
| 18 tokens/min | 5 min 33 sec | 30 min 33 sec | 1 h 3 min 53 sec |
| 30 tokens/min | 3 min 20 sec | 18 min 20 sec | 38 min 20 sec |
| 60 tokens/min | 1 min 40 sec | 9 min 10 sec | 19 min 10 sec |
| 90 tokens/min | 1 min 6 sec | 6 min 6 sec | 12 min 46 sec |
| 120 tokens/min | 50 sec | 4 min 35 sec | 9 min 35 sec |
Billing rules behind these numbers
- The rate is shown before you connect and locks for that show. In instant matching you set a maximum rate and are only paired with broadcasters at or below it.
- The billing clock starts when both browsers report connected video, or 10 seconds after the first browser reports it if the other has not reported. A 5-second grace period follows. If neither browser reports connected video within 30 seconds, the show ends without a charge. Waiting for a match is free.
- Time is counted by the second. The show's running total is rounded up to a whole token once, not every second: 61 billed seconds at 12 tokens/min is 12.2, so the show costs 13 tokens.
- A show ends automatically when your wallet cannot cover more time. You need enough tokens for at least the first billed second to start.
- If a broadcaster skips or leaves within the first 30 seconds, the tokens for that show are refunded.
- Tips are separate and reduce the time left for private shows.
- These examples assume one continuous show. Each new show has its own whole-token rounding, so splitting a balance across several shows can buy less total billed time.
What you pay versus what broadcasters earn
Members pay the pack price, about 8.7–10.0 cents per token depending on the pack. Broadcasters earn a fixed $0.05 for each token tipped to them or billed in their private shows; Vibecams keeps the difference to operate the platform. At 12 tokens per minute, a member spends 12 tokens (about $1.20 at the 100-token pack price) and the broadcaster earns $0.60 for each fully billed minute.
Promotional and converted credits
Free trial minutes, invite rewards and promo credits held as minutes stay on your account. You can choose to convert them in your wallet at 12 tokens per minute. Tokens that come from promotional credit are private-show-only: they can pay for private time, and private billing uses them first, but they cannot be sent as public tips. Purchased tokens can be used for either.
